On Friday, June 19, 2026, a visit to the Novi Sad Fire and Rescue Brigade (VSBNS) was organized with the aim of familiarizing students with the work and operations of firefighters and rescuers.
During the visit, students were given a detailed overview of the requirements for becoming a firefighter/rescuer, the types of interventions carried out by the Brigade, the equipment used in interventions and the personal protective equipment worn by participants in various interventions, the Brigade members’ preparedness and continuous training for different types of interventions, as well as the daily activities of VSBNS members and the importance of prevention in preventing and reducing the consequences of fires.
